My name is Makut Alfred Mashat, I'm from Bokkos in Plateau State, Nigeria and I and sign my work under the artist name Seemo Da Black Czar. I find inspiration in many places and have traveled to from Jos to Lagos, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ogun, Benue, Kogi, Enugu, Asaba which has influenced my creative style and process. I create art because I am consciously inspired by my environment with special interest in the emancipation of the downtrodden through the lyrics of my songs highlighting unity, peace, social justice and equity for all mankind. I specialize in Song writing, Afro hip hop vibes, co-producing, content Development, performing live and ICT Development and I focus on Music & Content creation, ICT and creative writing. I also enjoy working with Talented creatives in the innovation and creative Industry.. My art style is Conscious Afro-Hip Hop fusion. I am motivated by my environment, music, politics and cultural expedition. I've been creating art for over 16 years My favorite artists are 2pac Amaru Shakur, Nas, Bob Marley, Fela and Notorious BIG, and I find their work to be evergreen, inspiring and motivational! I connect with the art community by networking and putting out materials through social media engagements and live performances. My work has shown at Channel O, Hip TV, Sound City, MTV Base, Kennis Music, NTA, PRTV, AIT, GALAXY and almost all the private Radio and local TV Stations across West Africa. When people see my work, I hope they experience The realness and expression of my thoughts.
